Even though I should be well over searching for my shoes for the wedding weekend (see what I did there?), I am not.  I was stalking the Macy's online wedding shoe salon and see that not only are there are few new styles (just a few of the more comfy looking ones below), but they also now carry Menbur (usually found at Nordstrom).  Enjoy.  Oh, and show your shoes!

I haven't made any exciting shoe porn purchases lately.  I've bought a few practical pairs of pumps for the office.  Comfy and pretty, yes.  Shoe porn, no.

I'm trying to find a pair of shoes for a dress I'm wearing to a wedding at the end of the month. It's a pink lace dress with a taupe sheath underneath, so I'm thinking in the tan/beige family. It's going to be outdoors in a field, so wedges chunky low heels are what i'm looking for.

@NDelible I love all those shoes, but your actual wedding shoes are more gorgeous than the glitter ones IMO!  I especially love the big pouf on the kitten heels.  So fun.

Thank you!  I love yours too.  I'd totally pick them myself.   I went back and forth for like a month before I broke down and got them.  And not after trying about six different pairs through Zappos.  I have stupid feet.  Everything hurts.  And these feel heavenly.  For some reason, I am poof for the feet but not for the dress.  I could post shoes and purses all day long!  I love them because when they are classic, you can keep them for years!

I was going to shell out big coin for some loubies, giuseppes, or brian atwoods, but I know these are comfy as hell, and I got a smokin' deal on them:

So I'm probably just going to stick with them. Plus, I'm going to have a long dress and no one's going to see my shoes anyway.

I think I bought three or four pairs of shoes before my wedding. In the end I randomly found some Ralph Laurens in Navy at Marshalls the week before my wedding for $40 bucks. And I can wear them again!

Almost these, they are embossed differently, don't look like croc and only have one buckle but they were very comfrtable for hours on a cement floor:



@beethery- a ton of people asked to see my shoes at the wedding. While I was doing table visits. I though it was weird

Do any of you guys know what sites are good for larger sized shoes?  I'm getting all sad that I can't find anything I love.  I think I might end up having some made, but I'm not really sure at this point.

Nordstrom is usually good for unusual sizes.  Especially online.  Zappos is pretty good too.

@missdelilah  ModCloth goes up to a size 11, and you can filter it by shoe size.  I always find something on ModCloth!

Thanks @hikebikebemerry.  I find the ModCloth selections in size 11 a little disappointing.  I do occasionally buy shoes from them, buy by and large, the nicer ones don't go up that hight.  Definitely worth taking another look.  Thanks!

@missdelilah, I found this article,clicky, which has some shoes for larger feet and if you click the pictures will lead you to sites.

But also...drag stores. Also good for taller ladies wanting fancy (if a bit gaudy) clothing.

I debated for a long time (and might own several more pairs of shoes because of it), but these are mine. I tried them on with my dress and they look awesome. I am bringing some lower comfy shoes to wear so I can dance all night. I haven't picked those out yet.
