XP: Disney/EPCOT Bachelorette

I know Disney is a huge destination for brides and bachelorettes. Has anyone ever done a bachelorette at EPCOT? As Orlando natives, many of the girls have done the "Drinking Around the World" many of times but I'm looking for ways to spice it up. Thankfully it's on a Food and Wine weekend, so we have that going for us. Any ideas are much appreciated!

Re: XP: Disney/EPCOT Bachelorette

  • I had my bachelorette party in downtown Orlando and much preferred it to drinking around the world. Drinking around the world is fun, the monorail booze cruise is fun, and I love food and wine, but I wouldn't want to do any of those for a bachelorette party. Unless everyone already has Disney tickets, it gets pricey too quickly.

At my bach party every bar we passed saw a group of girls and offered us a free round of drinks or bottle of champagne. We just hopped from bar to bar drinking the free stuff. Maybe we stayed at 2 bars long enough to buy another round. We had a ton of fun. Downtown has a lot of really cool bars, from speakeasys to dance clubs and everything in between. I think I've seen more bach parties there than at Epcot.

Unfortunately the MOH is 15 and the bride wants her there, so clubs are out. Everyone has passes to get in, and considering Food and Wine allows drinks to be a bit cheaper (but then again, a lot smaller), it can be a bit more affordable. We're staying at a hotel on Disney property so we don't have to worry about driving home and we can have drinks after the park too. I appreciate your suggestion though.
