Had my shower this weekend

My bridal shower was this weekend - it was really nice. Lots of good food (Butter chicken, meatballs, rice, naan bread, meat/cheese platters with bakery buns and then snacks), we also had some wine and some amazing desserts. Not too many games, just the closepeg game, purse game and 1 a-z wedding word game.

Lasted a long time surprisingly too, I figured 2 - 3 hours... But we still had some of my friends around at 5:30pm. Didn't feel that long at all. 

We had 17 ladies over... A few no shows which makes me worried about the wedding as they were close... 

But anyways... Pictures! (Not going to post any with others in it as I didn't ask everyone if I could post their pictures, ps sorry they're a little pinterest-y)

So much fun- you know it's a good party when it's going on past the expected time. Don't worry about no-shows. Showers aren't the same priority as weddings, so don't stress!

So much fun! I've never seen the bow hat before. The tradition I'm familiar with is to use the shower gift bows to make a bouquet to hold at the rehearsal. Do you do that, too?

Thanks everyone! Yeah the bow hat is a pretty big tradition here.

I really like the bouquet idea, that is really neat - I haven't heard that one before.

I don't even want to tell you how many cake pops I had... They were too good!
