Name Change "Kits"

How is everyone on here going about changing their name?

I've read reviews that the kits in place online don't really do much for the money you spend, and that I should just do everything myself anyway.

What is everyone else thinking about doing? Any trusted kits out there?

I have no idea I thought you just take your marriage license and go to the social security office? Would love to know more, I never changed my last name in my first marriage but will be for thus one.

The kits are only there to rip you off, they do next to nothing for you.  Here are the name change steps:

Social Security and DMV are the most important and they have to be done in person.  Once you have those two, most other things just need a certified copy of your Marriage certificate and updated photo id.  I was able to fax most of my other changes.
