Bridal Shower Room? Bring your own food?

I am looking for a good space to have a bridal shower in the french quarter on a friday night from 5 to 7. I would like a place where I could bring my own snacks and even better wine! Or a nice place that would serve cheaper food! It would be 30 people. Any good recommendations? I would like to stay around$300.

We are having our wedding at the Irish cultural museum 11/8. Their rates are very reasonable and they are very flexible as well as pleasant to deal with. You might want to check with them!

They want $1500 for the space or $83 a person

Yikes....not even close to your budget! Have you considered something outside of the FQ. Perhaps the Marigny? Good luck! You'll find a spot!

I am just not sure people will have a car to get other places. Most people, including myself are flying in so I dont really have a way to get other places

The Marigny is adjacent to the FQ and walkable. Or a quick/inexpensive cab ride away. You may want to try the New Orleans convention and visitors bureau. Also, the 'visit new orleans' Facebook page is super helpful and you can email them for suggestions and they always seem super happy to help!
