So I am having a beach wedding and wearing a champagne dress, the gentlemen will be in all white linen. Does this hinder my desire to have tangerine bm dresses?

No.  I don't see that these colors would be a problem together at all.  If you're super worried, request a sample of the fabric for the BMs dresses and go back to the salon where you ordered your dress and compare them.  IMO it really shouldn't be a problem.  Just be aware that tangerine isn't flattering on that many people.  Are you sure all your BMs will look good in it?

I think the tangerine color should hinder you from having tangerine BM dresses.

White and champagne are neutrals so pretty much any color will coordinate just fine.

But I have to agree with PP, tangerine can be a pretty powerful color that not all people look great in. I know that I would look like a sick ghost in tangerine if I didn't have some sort of tan and you really can't expect your BMs to tan for your wedding.

What are your other colors?  Do you have a more subdued color that can be used for the dresses and then bring the bright tangerine in with the flowers?

The champagne will brighten up under the sun.

But so will the tangerine. It might be hard to look at your bridesmaids without squinting.

I think those colors would go together fine. With that said, I had considered shades of orange in my original color scheme & my girls all said - that's fantastic, just please don't make us actually wear orange! LOL.

Literally any color will go with white and champagne.

Thank you ALL for your input! My girls have all seen the dress I desire for them, in the color in the tangerine color and have all sd they LOVE it! I know my girls will tan before the wedding bc we live in STL, Mo & are heading to the Dominican. ...You either tan now, ... or BURN! Stay tuned, I will post pics of how this actually plays out!

For the record, I'm pasty white and look fantastic in orange.  Not everybody has to tan in order to wear it and look good.

And never mind the skin cancer risk of tanning or that some people (like me!) never get tan. Tanning doesn't mean you're not damaging skin cells.

/off soapbox before I start in on the cancerous/pre-cancerous places my mom/aunt/grandma/cousins have all had to have removed... uh, too late...

I don't tan either.  I burn really well, though.
