Anyone Do An In-Suite Ceremony & Reception at The Palms?

I did notice that it's one of the few properties that has suites large enough to hold 100+ people.  They actually have several and they list what the maximum is.  There are a couple of them that don't look like a hip-hop wannabe mogul's wet dream.  With that kind of capacity, I'm actually considering it.  I mean, we were already going to spend at least $1k on a chapel...  Any thoughts on something like this?  I'm a little hesitant because we really wanted to stay on the Strip, but one of the suites has a bowling alley and a pool table.  That's pretty cool!

We looked into these as well, primarily the kingpin suite. It goes for 5k however we got them down some. However, they are very strict about using their caterers which is ultimately why we moved on to another option. Plus although kingpin is awesome, it doesn't have a ton of seating.
If you're willing to spend 5k and go off strip, you should consider the stardust as well. For 3500 f&b minimum you the suite. I haven't seen a ceremony review in there but I bet they can do it.

@rosebubbly you were quoted 5k for the Kingpin suite? I was quoted 15k!!

Yeah it was 5 for kingpin and the palms place one and I think 4 for one of the others. 10 for hardwood I think

I got two quotes from different people for the kingpin suite

1st was $4,000 for the night +$3,000 food and bev minimum

2nd was $5,000 +$700 food and bev minimum 

and the 1 story sky villa was $7000 but didnt mention of there was a food and bev min

They never quoted me a F&B minimum, just a straight 5k rental.

They do that, don't they?   LOL.  Thanks.  I think that we have decided to stay on the Strip (whatever that means), so unless she comes back with a heck of a deal to lure us away, The Palms is out.
