Charcoal gray and silver

I am struggling with colors big time! Anybody have a charcoal gray (tuxes) with silver bridesmaid dresses? I like the idea but am nervous. I am planning on pastel colored flowers, mostly blush pink. Please help! Would love pics of the combo!

I'm using a mixture of silvers but like with all colors, some will go together very well and others will kind of clash. If you have a sample of either color to take with you, I think you'd be able to make a better decision.

If it's a brushed silver instead of a shiny silver, I think it would look alright, especially with the blush flowers.

I don't think it would look bad from a color coordination perspective, but it might look a bit drab. What if you did blush colored BM dresses in addition to the blush/white flowers?

I love the pictures PPs have put up.  I prefer the darker silver to the bright personally, but in the end, it's up to you.

FYI: you're going to most likely find it difficult to source rental tuxedos that aren't black.  Are you thinking more of a two or three piece suit?

I am doing a very similar color combination to what you are talking about. The guys are in grey suits (sort of a medium grey, similar to the third picture doeydo posted) and the girls are wearing alfred sung in charm- its grey with a bit if a purple tint to it. The flowers will be light purple and blush. I've seen it all put together and I think it looks amazing.

I agree with PPs. I don't think it'll look bad, but I think it'll look washed out. What season are you getting married in? I'm getting married next fall, and my colors are gray suites for the guys, navy dresses from my BMs, and peach flowers. If I was getting married in the spring, I'd probably do blush dresses for my BMs, or keep the navy dresses and switch the flowers to blush and brighter pinks.
