How to locate a dress from older collection

I found a Haley Paige dress in a 2014 magazine that I feel in love with.  It took some time, but I finally tracked the dress down.  Its from either the spring or fall 2012 collection.  The style is Jacque.  I did some searching online, but I haven't been able to locate the dress.  Do you think its still possible to get this dress?  Any suggestions of how to track it down?

Re: How to locate a dress from older collection

  • If it has been discontinued by the designer then you won't be able to order a new one.  You can look on preowned dress sites, ebay, call up Pearls Place or Vows (the store featured on I Found My Gown).  You could also ask local salons that carry the designer if they have the sample of that gown. But after looking up the dress I don't believe that that was a very popular design so you may have some trouble finding that exact dress.

  • Have you actually tried on this dress?  Most brides are very disappointed after trying on a dress that they chose from a photo-shopped picture on the internet, or a magazine.  Those dresses can look completely different on you.  My daughter was so certain that a Maggie Sottero dress was perfect.  Eh.  It really didn't look that great on her.  The dress she found was completely different, and by Demetrios.  It was totally wow on her, but didn't look that great on the internet photo.
