getaway car

Hi,

 I'm getting married in Salem in a few months and am looking for a nice car for my fiancee to drive to the site and then for us to leave in. Problem is, he's a big classic car fan, and not from the area. All I can find are rentals for limos and town cars. Anyone know of someone who loans or rents their classic car? Anything before 1970 would work I think. Thanks!

    I've heard the tip of finding and contacting area car clubs and seeing if someone might loan one to you.  I have a hard time thinking anyone would hand over the keys to their pre-1970 baby with wheels and if they would help you out they would likely drive you to/from your destination. Let me know how this works out, I've been pondering this myself for grease monkey FI for our wedding next year.

    We ended up eloping, but prior to that I had accosted someone at a car show and he was so super duper excited for me to use his car in my wedding. I did end up sending his info to another bride who used it. Wish I would have kept his info, it was an old Packard and was white and amazing!
