    I did! But we are a same-sex couple. I proposed to her, and a week later she proposed to me :)

    I proposed to my husband on our back porch with a simple, "Hey, let's get married." He gave a coy smile and said, "Sure, why not?"

    I asked my fiance to marry me. We'd been talking about it for years, and he was just taking far too long, so I bought him a ring, and took him out to dinner, and asked him to marry me. He proposed back a couple of weeks later.
