    @Kristynnnn - thanks so much for all of the info!  We were also told to go to Newport...is that anywhere near Rockport?  Or is that the opposite direction?  Your honeymoon sounds awesome!

    Newport is in Rhode Island and I've never been, but Newburyport is in MA about 20 mins north of Rockport. Newburyport is a cute little coastal town as well!! These towns are all North of Boston, on the Northshore. If you were looking to do a whale watch you could go from Gloucester which is right next to Rockport.  You could also hop right up into NH and go on a whale watch from Rye, NH.  

    South of Boston the towns aren't as "coastal, traditional NE " until you get to Cape Cod, then it's the epitome of traditional coastal NE towns (at least in the Summertime). However in my opinion I wouldn't waste a day going to Cape Cod in October, as most everything will be closed down, and it's a lot farther away than the Northshore towns.

    Everyone's honeymoons sound amazing! We are doing a mini-moon in Santa Fe for a 5 days and then it is back to work for me!

     

    We are planning a trip to Paris for our anniversary, though. We will see...

    We are getting married on Maui, then honeymooning on Kauai for a few days before heading to Tahiti - Bora Bora and Taha'a.  I can't wait to be on vacation with my BFF!

    Oh man, I'm so excited about ours... we're not taking a trip right away, but when we do - WE'RE GOING TO COMIC-CON NEXT JULY AND ALSO DISNEYLAND AND THE BEACH.

    I get the serious little girl excited screams whenever I think about it.

    We are going there, too! Looking forward to relaxing and not make many decisions besides what I feel like eating or drinking. :) We haven't decided on excursions yet, but I definitely want to see some Mayan ruins.

    We're not taking our honeymoon until next May, so we're doing a long weekend away the 1st weekend of December - going to Universal Studios to do the new half (and old half, obviously!) of Harry Potter World. 

    In May we're going to Europe for 3 weeks. Spending a few days in Venice before going on a 12-day Mediterranean cruise that ends in Barcelona, so we will also spend a week going around Spain before flying home.

    *Almost* more excited for this trip than I am for the wedding!  ;)  (jk...)
