Happy wedding month everyone!!! I can not believe it!!!

I send out first day of the month emails at work to remind everyone of what needs turned in by the 10th. I came in this morning to four emails from my staff wishing me a happy wedding month. Apparently everyone is excited for October!

I woke up and had to take a deep breath! Can't believe October is here! I've been engaged for over 3 years now and in 11 days i finally get to say i do!!

October is finally here! My wedding is this Sunday, and I am beyond excited! I just have to get rid of this cold before then! Being sick is no fun.

When everyone kept telling us in the beginning that 'it will fly by.' I never really believed them - How stupid I was! Cant believe October is here already! Now only 16 days!

Ladies - I'm going to say this again; PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update us on your wedding after it's happened!  I find this to be a fun group of people, and it would be nice if this board stays alive after Oct 2014 is done and over with and we're all OMHs.

It just occured to me that we are probably going to need each other's support AFTER October and all of the excitment has dissipated.  I just thought of that today...what happens when there's no more countdown, exciting WR surprises, etc?

We get back to a 'normal' life... and there will be other exciting life events like babies and anniversaries and buying houses for some!  I guess we'll all be more focused employees as well lol!

One bride on the September board is already pregnant! That's so exciting, and I also hope everyone continues to post on here. I know I will!!

I'm actually looking forward to the wedding stuff to be over - it has been fun, but we bought a house earlier this year and had a baby in 2011 - I'm just ready to get back to my regularly scheduled life! Back to being able to work and keep the house clean and all the things we do each week (teach guitar lessons, band practice, aerial silks, dinners with friends and family) - without feeling like I'm doing it instead of the all-important wedding planning!

True story, if my boss wasn't amazing and helping us with the wedding I would have been fired by now!
