Must use vendors!!!

I just got married on Nov. 20th and I had the most amazing vendors!!! I did a lot of searching before choosing my vendors and I am so glad that I did.

Photography:
We used Rob Powell Photography. Rob is amazing!!! His creativity and experience shines through his photos!! He caught the fun, the beauty and the reverence of the day. His contract stated that he would shoot 600 digital photos. He gave us over 1000!!! We had our copy right release DVD's the next day!!! He also chose his favorite picture and gave us 20 4X6 colored corrected prints at no charge!!! His package price also includes prints as well as the copy right release DVD's!! He has over 31 years experience and his prices will fit any budget, even a modest budget like ours!! He advertises as a "budget photographer" because his main income comes from a different source!! I am so glad that we chose Rob!!! He was professional, flexible, fun and his photos are amazing!!! I can't say enough good about him!!!

Rentals:
Barclay's Event Rentals.
They are amazing. I came into their store 10 days before the wedding. I needed 25 table linens (long story about what happened to the venue provided linens). Linda, Robyn and Jen were so helpful. They not only help me select the color and fabric of the linens I needed, but they set up a couple of tables so that I could see exactly how things would look. After talking with them about my theme and the venue room decor, they suggested that I might want to alternate tables with 2 different colored linens (copper and terra cotta) Their eye for detail and style were invaluable and the reception venue looked amazing!!! The day before the wedding I broke 2 glass rose bowls and needed to replace them, Barclay's had them in stock and it was cheaper than buying them!!! They have so much to choose from and their prices are so very reasonable.I also needed a few other last minute items and they were all in stock and ready to go!!! The reception venue looked great and I could not have done it without Linda, Robyn and Jen's eye for detail and style advice!!!

Bakery:
His Bakery. We really enjoyed working with His Bakery. Jack, the baker and owner sat down with us and helped us choose our fillings and flavors!! He was so accommodating (I am allergic to chocolate). I brought a picture of the cake I wanted. The cake turned out absolutely beautiful and we received so many compliments on how good it was!!! He also did pecan tarts for us and they were a huge hit!! I can't thank him enough for his advice on how many I needed to order!!

Videoography:
Steady State Studios
. We searched forever for a videographer and almost gave up before we found Jason. We were not only looking for someone who would fit within our budget, but also for someone who would capture not only the beauty and excitment of the day, but also the the reverence of the ceremony as well. We also wanted someone who would capture the fun and relaxed atmoshphere of the reception.  Jason was fabulous! He was professional and very fun to have at the wedding. He took his time to scope out the best location(s) to shoot from. He wirelessly miked Dylan (the groom) to make sure that the sound was crystal clear for the video. He asked around at the reception for anyone who would like to leave a video message for us on video!! He was so flexible and he made sure he captured all of the special moments of the day!!! Although he was always where we were, he was never noticed because he was in the background and very non-intrusive. He never blocked the view of any of the guests and yet, he was where he needed to be to capture the special moments!! Jason was so amazing and we couldn't imagine using anyone else!! I am so glad he was part of my wedding day!!

Florist:
Flowers For You
. Kay was so much fun to work with. Her website is beautiful and that is how I found her! She has the most amazing bouquets on her website!! Kay is the only florist (I talked to 4 all together) who did not try and change my mind about what I had in mind. We got married the Saturday before Thanksgiving and I wanted to incorporate the Thanksgiving theme into my wedding. I really wanted floral cornucopias for the church and reception decorations. Most vendors said: well, take a look at what I have done before and choose one of those. Kay, on the other hand was excited to create something that we had talked about for a Thanksgiving themed wedding! Everything turned out so gorgeous!! A lot of people commented on the abundance of flowers and the beautiful arrangements!! Kay really went above and beyond my expectations and made my wedding day flowers absolutely amazing!!

It was a great day and went off perfectly!!! I believe the day went so smoothly because I had such great vendors!!!! Happy planning to all of the Oregon brides!!!

You might want to edit and put in paragraphs, it's helpful information but very hard to read.

And I'm glad you had a good experience with Barclay - Robyn is my cousin Smile

Thanks for the re-formatting advice. I was so excited to post about the vendors that I forgot to check my grammer and format. Hope this helps!!
