Suit for Ladies, please help

Hello! 

I would love any suggestions you guys have. 

I am (a) Maid of Honour in my sister's wedding. The groom's sister is the Best Woman and also the officiant (and also one of my best friends). She told me she was looking into getting a nice woman's suit for the wedding rather than wearing a dress, but she can't find anything nice that she likes. 

Does anyone have any awesome, reasonably-priced brands or stores they would recommend for this? 

Also appreciated: Really great photos of ladies in suits at weddings for inspiration!

Depending on your size, I get most of my work suits from Banana Republic, J Crew, and occasionally Express. However, their sizes run large, so I have to get everything tailored because I often swim in their zeros (and I'm not super tiny.) But the cuts and fabric are good and there's usually some interesting blazer cuts and such.

Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, Talbots, and Macy's all have nice, basic suits for women and frequently have good sales.

Le Suit is a brand I favor.  I know they carry them at Penney's and at Herbergers/Younkers/BonTon. and Macy's.

Yes my FI is wearing a suit! She actually pieced it together though, I think she found things at Express and Macy's that she liked, but I know she's having to have it tailored to fit her just right.
