Hey everyone... I have bought random stuff off DHGATE before, which is like a china amazon.com basically. And I just wanted to check in with you guys and say that I decided to chance it and get my wedding dress there..
I got it in the mail today and with the exception of perhaps needing to get it resized a little (even though I sent them my measurements) it really did turn out great. (And every dress needs to get resized a little anyways)....
The dresses on DHGATE are like $99-$250.. this one was $149. And the seller I used was newyorkwedding dress. And like ebay and amazon, they have a store you can shop from. Only disadvantage was it took about a month to get it to me. They'll send you a shipping/tracking number but not send it for about another week and a half or so.
Unlike ebay/amazon they dont release the money to the seller until you confirm getting it and being satisfied with it. So I do trust the site. I've seen DHGATE show up on a lot of websites in the corner for advertisements so I thought someone might want to know it turned out ok for me. :-)
