Weird Post-Wedding Dreams

I swear I have had more wedding related dreams in the month and a half since the wedding than I did the entire time we were engaged.  It is so weird!

Last night I had a dream that my mom was making me get married to DH again (so basically a PPD), but in a better venue.  I was yelling about how I loved my first REAL wedding and didn't want to do it again.  I had the same dress and flowers, the guests were the same, but we were in a different venue in town than the one we were actually married in.  In the end, I walked down the aisle because I was already there in my dress, etc.  We had a dual ceremony with a same sex couple, and then shared a table with them at our joint reception.  After the meal, my parents came up to me and said, "Wasn't that better than the first time?"

I also had a dream where my DH (FI in the dream) said he couldn't marry me at our ceremony that was in 5 minutes because he wasn't good enough for me.  So, I married Enrique Iglesias instead.  Enrique sang to me during the ceremony, while DH watched.  After we were married, I found DH and begged him to please marry me instead because I didn't want to be married to Enrique Iglesias.

Has anyone else had any weird post-wedding wedding dreams?  Or any other weird dreams?

Yes!! I don't even remember it now but I had one a few days ago that something was going wrong, like we were at the venue all dressed up and I don't remember if the photographer was late or my hair was messed up but something like that. I woke up thinking "what the hell?!" I had enough nightmares leading up to the wedding, I thought I was going to be able to never have them again. Super weird.

But I also have a lot of weird baby related ones too. My friend says it's common when you're pregnant but I'm certainly NOT pregnant and don't want to be for a while so my unconscious brain needs to simmer down.

I had similar dreams. I also dreamt that our wedding was actually for my brother (he got married 3 months before we did).

YES! That's so funny that you posted this, because just the other night I had a weird do-over wedding/PPD dream. In my dream, I had two weddings- one for those that originally came to the wedding, and then another one for all the people that declined. In my dream-world, you just kept having weddings until everyone came.I remember asking someone in my dream, "how many weddings did you have?" I had the same dress, venue, everything the same for the first and second wedding. I remember thinking during the 2nd wedding that I was much less nervous, but kind of bored, since I had already done this all before. Crazy.

How strange! I have been having some whacko dreams lately, so I will be interested to see if I am going to have any post-wedding dreams.

Umm, I had a very strange dream about an ex last night... it didn't take place in present day though. It was very strange. I was still in college and living at home, although I didn't live at home while I was in college, and didn't date this guy until a year after I graduated. We were long distance and I was really upset that he kept leaving me and wouldn't stay, and didn't talk to me much while he was gone... but we were never long distance. Very, very strange.
