Unique Reception venue ideas?

I need a little help on where to host my wedding/reception. I feel stumped in so many ways. I want my venue to be indoors, cozy, be able to hold around 200 people, allow me to do my own catering and not cost several thousand dollars to rent. I thought about country clubs but that costs a lot and I would have to use their catering. I don't like ballrooms because they are too spacious, I thought about bed and breakfasts but they don't hold the amount of people I would like. What sounds really ideal to me is a barn wedding, however, i live in the beaverton/Hillsboro area of Oregon and it seems that the closest barns for rent are about 3 hours away. Does anyone have any creative wedding reception locations that they think fit my bill, or any suggestions for how to locate one? (or if you know of a barn near me that would be awesome as well)

I just saw this on Craigslist.  I don't know if it is big enough but it wouldn't hurt to check:

Look up Postlewait's Country Weddings in Canby & the Troutdale House in Troutdale.

I'm having my wedding at the Troutdale House, and I absolutely love it. Sure, it's kind of on the other side of town, but it's well worth it to go take a tour. It has the cozy feel of a smaller venue, but they can hold up to 200 people. You can bring in your own caterer or cater yourself, and there is no extra charge! And on top of that, the price for an all-day rental is fairly inexpensive compared to most places.

But what really got me about this place is that you don't need to do a whole lot of decoration. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL to begin with, and the owner, Laura has done a great job of making it feel ultra warm & inviting. I swear, I cannot say enough good things about this place :)

Jenkin's Estate in Aloha has a barn and I think you should be able to do that many people.  Cornelius Pass Road House (a McMenamin's property) also has a barn.  I don't know #s on those, though.  There's also a barn property (Stein-boozier) in Wilsonville that holds 98 and Scappoose Creek Inn, which holds 150.

Cornelius Pass Roadhouse is a great venue and has an awesome octaganol barn that's original to the property. You have to use their catering though and with the 200 guest list you will have to use the space outside too but it's still really nice. In the summer months expect to pay around $4000 for the venue but that includes food and in the off months it's going to be a lot less.
