Morganite Rings?!

I love Morganite rings, and I am pretty set on that as my center stone. I am wondering what people think about rose gold vs white gold with morganite? Thanks!

I have morganite set in rose gold. I like morganite better in rose than white because of the color, but that's just my personal preference. The pink of the stone with the rose gold is so pretty to me.

I like both.  If I were getting morganite as my e-ring, I'd probably go with white gold only because I'd be afraid that I might get tired of the rose gold.  It's all personal preference, I think it's beautiful with rose gold, I can see why it's a hard decision!

I honestly don't like it in the white gold. The rose gold is gorgeous with morganite though. I love @goldenpenguin's ring!

I really love it with rose gold as well, but I think it will look fine with either shade. Whatever you like best will be beautiful! Have you tried on a morganite with both types of gold? Trying on a similar ring in both types of gold may help make the decision.

I am going to go on a hunt tomorrow to try on some different styles and with both shades. I agree, I think the rose gold is super pretty with the pink stone, but I have always loved white gold and am afraid I might get tired of the rose gold.

I also, personally, don't like morganite with white gold. It just doesn't have the same "oomph" to me. I have never been a gold person - I've always only worn white gold and/or silver - but there is just something about the rose gold that does it for me. 

I would recommend looking online at Sam & Sue jewelry. They have a TON of different styles, in all different metals. That's where I got the initial design for my ring (but my FI didn't purchase it from there).

@GoldenPenguin I think the thing I love the most about rose gold with the morganite is how warm everything looks together! White gold takes away from the warm tones of the morganite whereas the rose gold complements it and enhances the stone. I LOVE YOUR RING SO MUCH!

Dropping in from my dissertation cave to say... OMG @goldenpenguin THAT RING.  I love morganite as well, especially with rose gold.  (I love rose gold in general.)
