Best place to buy men's suit (budget friendly)

Does anyone have any suggestions on places to buy a suit from?  Our budget is around $300 for FI's suit for the wedding.

My H got his at JCPennys for just over $100.  There is also Macy's, Boscov's (depending where you live) and pretty much all the big box stores carry them.  Even Men's Wharehouse has some decent sales, but we generally found them to be too expensive

Macy's pretty much always has big sales. For example, they're doing a Columbus Day sale right now. Looks like there are a bunch that are on sale for under $150, which leaves plenty of money for tailoring (the trick to looking truly dapper).

My dad got his suit from JCPennys for around $150. FI got his suit from a website called www.combatgent.com for around $160 as well. The quality is great, but the cuts are a little slimmer and more modern. Really, any department store will give you the best bang for your buck, especially if you wait for sales.

We used a 75% off online sale at Jos A Bank for H and his guys, since that's normally where he gets his work suits anyway. They came to $223 for the Signature suit. They have these sales pretty regularly; probably 4 times a year. Normally whenever it's buy one, get three free in the store it's 75% off online so you don't need to buy in multiples of 4. They all got measured in store.

JC Penney is a good bet as well.

FI bought his at Macy's.  When we registered there they gave us an envelope of coupons and two of them were for menswear (I forget the specifics), and FI bought a suit and three dress shirts for about $170 after the sales and coupons.

We went to Men's Warehouse for a sale, it was a suit with a vest, I think it was $220 for their suits (would have been $200 without the vest).

My husband and the groomsmen got their suits and Jos. A. Banks. They have great options for all shapes and sizes, with crazy sales throughout the year like buy 1 get 3 free. We ended up going with a dark navy suit in a lightweight wool for our August wedding, and all of the guys loved them - especially for the $230 price tag! For reference, attached is one of our wedding photos.
