Thank you note clarification

I'm writing TY notes for gifts I received at my shower, and wanted a clarification. For gifts given by a group of people (for example I got a coffee/espresso maker, coffee grinder, espresso glasses, and some beans from my Aunt and a few of my cousins), do I send a TY note to each individual person, or do I thank the group in a single note? Not sure of the protocol here.

Re: Thank you note clarification

  • I would send each person a note, especially if they live separately.
  • Unless they all live in the same house, you should send separate notes to everyone. Even if they do all live in the same house, it would still be nice to send them individual notes (that all say something slightly different - they shouldn't be carbon copies of each other).

Ok, that's what I thought, thanks for the clarification!
