Instead of shelling out $50 on a positive pregnancy test why not do it the old fashioned way and poke holes in the condom or go off your BC?

  • She needs more than money to save those poor kids, being raised by a mother like that. Pathetic doesn't come close to describing her level of disgusting.

  • That. Disgusts. Me. Like, insanely grossed out. And not even just by the sticks that had someone's urine on them - by the fact that she thinks that's even a little bit okay.

Like, when I get pregnant, I can't see myself showing FI the stick I peed on. I can see myself telling him we're going to be bringing a little monster into the world (and s/he WILL BE A LITTLE MONSTER, complete with costume). I cannot see even holding on to a damn pee stick.

  • Apparently, this is a thing, now:

    latest-troubling-internet-trend-selling-positive-pregnancy-tests

Wiki even has instruction on how to make your own fake positive pregnancy test.

    Disgusting.

  • I had a question about a pregnancy test once and went to google. The top suggested search was "positive pregnancy tests for sale." I don't even understand the market for this. Also, the "make your man yours forever" is worse than the whole pee sticks for sale I think. Don't you think he'll get a little suspicious when you don't have a baby in several months?
Reminds me of that first awful subplot on Glee. Seriously, how do you think you ultimately get away with this?
  • I can not believe this is an actual thing.  She should not be allowed to do anything.

I would imagine that the person would fake a miscarriage and get sympathy points.

  • I've seen people do this before. I don't even think she's the sick one. She pales in comparison to the women who would actually buy these.

  • Fuck it. Bye, Knot. I've officially lost all faith in humanity and I'm going to live in total isolation on the top of a mountain somewhere with my dogs. I guess my FI can come too.

    Ugh. I fucking hate people.

  • When I was all upset over my ex breaking up with me my friend told me I should fake a pregnancy to get him back. DH's high school gf told him she was pregnant when he broke up with her. When he told her that he would provide financial support and wanted visitation rights but had no interest in a romantic relationship with her she said 'oh well I had a miscarriage'. Lying about pregnancy to try to keep a guy disgusts me.

  • Did you guys see that thing in the news a few months back about the woman who tricked her boyfriend into thinking she was pregnant with quadruplets?! She had a HUGE baby bump, and the guy said he'd felt the babies move and everything. If I remember correctly, she faked her sonograms and the whole 9, and got all the way to the delivery room. The doctor then discovered that there are no babies in that belly and never were. Her boyfriend was obviously shocked and devastated. These people should quite honestly be admitted to an asylum. Something is fundamentally wrong in their heads.

Yes.  Apparently she had a history of faking weird illnesses and nobody thought to actually double check this?  Facepalm.

  • I don't see the logic though, that a pregnancy will make a man stay with you forever.  People still leave they just end up sharing custody.

Yup. I have a friend who got pregnant with a guy she'd been seeing for a few weeks, lied about being on BC etc. They stuck it out a little while, until she started being just terrible to him. She said to me "well, he can't leave me if I'm pregnant!" Actually, yes. Yes he can.
