I am a year away from my wedding and have started looking into photographers/videographers.  has anyone used wedding bug? I am on a budget and they all seem so expensive except this one.

I haven't used them, but they are EXTREMELY obnoxious. You'll get constant calls and emails from them, even after you've chosen another photographer. I don't know what their work is like though. I'm not sure what your budget is, but go to www.snapknot.com and you can find a photographer based on budget and location. That's how I found my photographer. Good luck!

Have you tried thumbtack.com?  You put in what your budget is and then they send it out the all the vendors registered to their site and then you get bids/quotes from the vendors.  My friend hired her wedding photographer that way and they where very affordable.
