Custom Bolero?

Hi ladies-- I bought my dress several months ago, and at the time I wanted something extremely simple.  My dress is ivory and strapless with a demi train, and it has no sequins, lace, or anything.  Well, of course here we are and now I wish I had chosen something a little less plain.  I bought a bejeweled sash to spruce it up, but I've since fallen in love with the idea of also wearing a bolero.

I'm interested in something like these 2, where the lace extends to the bodice and goes down far enough that I can still wear the sash:

My question is--do you think I could get something similar custom made for less money?  I know I could just take it to the tailor and ask, but my dress is in another state where my mom lives, so I figured I'd see if anyone here had a custom-made bolero and could tell me about how much it cost.  Thanks so much!

I ordered the savannah topper from BHLDN and really loved it, although I ended up returning it because it didn't work with my dress. The second one you posted is beautiful, too.

I don't think you could have one made for less than $80, just because of the amount of work that would go into it, plus the cost of the materials. But hey, it might still be worth asking. Even if you don't have the dress, you could take a picture of what you want and ask for an idea of how much it would cost.

Thanks so much!  My wedding isn't until the spring, so I'm hoping BHLDN will have a Black Friday sale.  Great idea about just taking a picture to a tailor and asking about how much it would cost--can't believe I didn't think of that!

I kind of really want one of those feather shrugs, like the Sadie that BHLDN has, although I can't imagine actually wearing it during the ceremony or anytime other than in pictures.

We are getting married in December, so I need some sort of coverup/jacket/sweater, but I have no idea what I want.  The thing that worries me with getting something white is matching the colors.
