Nicotra's Ballroom in Staten Island

I just booked my wedding with Nicotra's Ballroom for the evening of Feb 2015. 

We are on a tight budget and I'd like to hear some tips about how other's had their wedding there. (flowers, dj, lighting)

I'm having my cocktail hour at Trevi Graden and the reception at Persimmon ballroom. 

I don't like LED lighting in the ballroom and instead wanna make it dark with dim light and many candles. Has anyone done this way?

How was your experience with them?

Any tips and advise will be much appreciated.

I like the hig low flowers and i think you can do candles in the flowers. Also try a floating flower in the long tube with floating candles. I was at a party there that had the floating candle it was very beautiful. Althugh i do recomend LED lighting at the Nicotra's Ballroom, it makes it magical and very beautiful.

If you dont mind me asking what was the minimum price offered to you per pp ? im starting to look at venues and i wanted to get a rough idea of pricing at Nicotra's Ballroom.
