When Fi goes away for business he will hide little sweet love notes all over the house for me. For example, he will leave one on a paper towel in the paper towl holder, so when I grab some it will flutter out or he will leave on the lamp by the bed so I see it when I turn the light off, or in the refrigerator on the orange so I see it when I'm having breakfast. It's really sweet and, although he does it every time he goes away, it's always a really nice surprise. I never know where they are going to be.

My husband did this a few months ago. I was finding notes for a week! I loved it.

Due to work schedules, I leave the house before DH. Often times, he's still in bed/half asleep when I leave, particularly if I'm going in early due to a big project. If I try to kiss him goodbye early (say, around 6:50), he will turn his head away and mumble "nu uh". If I wait till 7:01 or later, as I approach he will turn his head towards me, mumble "bye sweetie" and pucker up. It's friggin adorable.

DH makes me tea almost every morning (sometimes even if I have to get up way before him he will get up just to make my morning tea). He will even put it in a travel mug for me.

When BF goes away on business trips he always brings me back a little trinket from where he went - and I think thats cute.

The last 2 times he went he has left me a gift cert for my favorite nail salon - both times with a note in it that says "Treat yo self" it makes me laugh AND I get a free pedicure!

My bichon loves FI. When he gets home from work, she jumps in his lap and rolls over for him to rub her belly. Anytime anyone calls her, she goes to FI first (I think it's because that's who she wants it to be, haha). She is definitely his dog now, haha.

FI works on the weekends and I sleep in, so before he leaves he always kisses me and then tells me I'm beautiful.

Also when he gets tired or drunk, his southern accent comes out, and it's soop Damn cute on him.

When the Royals get on base he makes a sound like an owl. It really does sound just like an owl more than like a human sports cry and I think it's cute to hear it coming from my six foot two DH

He talks in a baby voice to our cat, which I find hysterical. Other than that we're not mushy, so I don't really have much for this thread.

FI has a tendency to get sentimental gifts and will surprise me at the most random times. As a child, I lost my favorite Clifford doll when I was being bounced from home to home in foster care. At one point, FI went to my adoptive parents apartment and saw a few pics of me and this little doll. I told him about how sad I was when I lost it. A few months later, I found myself having a really REALLY shitty day. My Fi went into the closet and brought out an EXACT replica of the clifford doll. He still pulls stuff like this today, and I love him for it.

FI and I work in different areas, so we often go up to a couple months without seeing each other.  Where he works, the cell reception is poor to non-existent, so when he does find a spot with reception, he'll call me, and say, "I'm just calling to say I love you".  It makes me melt Every Single Time
We do talk every night when he's in camp...

My Fi says the word "battery" like he is British.  "Battry". I tease him and pretend like it bothers me, but I love it.

FI and I have been doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. The first few times when we were doing the cool down stretching section FI would look the wrong direction (for the stretch). He would then make a kissy face before he corrected himself. Now it's part of our routine and he does it every time. It's ridiculous, but I love it.

I love that FI is so sweet to our dogs and cat. He spoils them so much. The other day he was talking to his mom and said, "When we have kids, I'll definitely be the strict one." She laughed in his face  because we all know he will be so easy going and the "pushover" and i love him for that.

My FI always comes and tucks me into bed and gives me a kiss when we works late in the apartment.  He also hides cards in my luggage whenever I travel without him.  It's really cute.  Oh, and a great example was this past Wednesday, I couldn't go have dinner with him and his kids like I usually do because I had a pinched nerve and couldnt' move and so the 3 of them made me a video telling me why they love me and how much they missed me.  I melted!

About a year ago I more or less convinced FI to adopt (read: brought home) a puppy from a shelter.  This particular shelter takes animals out of kill shelters and puts them in foster homes until adoption.  We had seen him a few days prior at an adoption event at PetCo and I couldn't stop thinking about him.  He's a little terrier, we think he is some sort of a Yorkie/Silky mix.  When he was newly-adopted, he was about 3 lbs, and it was hilarious to see 6'6 FI walk him.  We named the pup Tyrion, and he is now all the way up to 8 1/2 lbs.

Anyway, just now FI was laying on the couch on his back, with Tyrion also laying on his back on FI's belly.  FI has been trying to convince Tyrion he has a ball in his hand (he has nothing) and that he is throwing something for Tyrion to fetch.  Tyrion does not seem to believe it and keeps asking for belly rubs.  It is adorable.

About once a week, H comes home with a little gift for me. Fluffy socks, headbands, a new notebook, or a dessert. I love that he thinks of me all the time.
