AW: Engagement Pics!

I figured out how to save the photos without using the flash drive. They are still watermarked, but whatever. I posted about how I hated the pics because of how I looked, but a few days later (and after showing them to FI) I feel a lot better about them. There are a few that I'm not a fan of, but that's to be expected! I do love the quality of the pics and the photographer's style, so I'm really exciting for our wedding pics. He was awesome and a lot of fun to work with, so I am definitely looking forward to wedding day pics!. FI and I were pretty nervous at first, but we eased into it and had fun with it

I really love the 3rd pic, it looks so sweet to me. I hate my arm in the 5th pic, but I LOVE the background. And I think pic 6 will be our STD pic.

ohannabelle, awww thanks!! The first like, 15 pics I hated. They were really up close, and I think my face looked really bloated. Funnily enough, FI actually really liked those.

There were a few that were funny, too. I guess the photographer caught us at weird angles. Looking at them with FI and laughing at them together helped. And I thought he looked great in all of them - but he found a few that he thought he looked terrible in! Lol.

I'd hazard a guess that everyone hates some or most of their photos. Out of 100 we received, DH and I agreed on only 20 of them, and even so, reluctantly. It's not the photographer's fault at all- it's us thinking, "Oh, I look like I have a double-chin there" or "My muffin top is showing."

We're our own worst critics.

That's what's so great about doing E-pics though; you get a sense of your best angles and poses.

thisismynickname, yes totally, we really are our own worst critics! There was one pic FI liked and I was like "I HATE it! Look at my double chin!!!" Well, there were a few pics I said that about haha.

holyguacamole79 - love the new name lol. Now I want a huge bowl of guac. And yes, that is in Dumbo which is in Brooklyn. I love it there, the city views are so awesome, and it is such a fun neighborhood.

@h olyguacamole79, I actually make a pretty mean bowl myself! I haven't made some in a while now that I think of it. And I'm jealous of your client's views! I would LOVE to live in DUMBO and have those views from my apartment!
