FWP

I feel like we haven't done this in a while. What's your FWP today? Mine is that I'm going to Kansas City this weekend for a Chiefs game, but after being a Bears season ticket holder for the last five years, almost 100% of my outerwear is blue and orange. I don't want to be that ass wearing shit for a team that isn't even playing.

Re: FWP

  • I am ashamed to ask, what's FWP?

  • First world problem
  • My CPA charges $165 per hour.
  • Mine is that I might miss a bachelorette party Saturday depending on the weather. If it's raining, which it is supposed to, I am going to be annoyed b/c I have to drive an hour in the rain to get there and may just say screw it.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

  • H brought home carry out from our favorite Italian place. I'm so full from bread, salad, chicken & pasta that I don't have room right now for the tiramisu he got as well.
  • My trainer kicked my ass this week and I'm so sore.

Also, I bought too many pairs of boots. Every day it's a struggle. The short black ones? The slouchy brown ones? The tall riding boots? Gah!
  • I have a Halloween event to be at in an hour and I don't have a costume.  I don't have time to go buy anything and I woefully uninspired by anything around the house.  Sigh.

  • DH was supposed to pick up a mini baguette for dinner but came home with a huge loaf and an absurd amount of pan dulce. All of which is now gone- despite our agreement to cut back on eating crap.

  • I'm still sick so I didn't get to go out at all today, and I spent what little energy I had cleaning up the bathroom after SO had a nosebleed.

It didn't feel like my bday really at all and I'm still just under 50 fb posts at almost 10pm. Neither SO nor roomie have posted either. Waaaahhhhh!!

  • My grandparents gave me a beautiful necklace with my new monogram on it, but the clasp keeps sliding around to the front. It's very annoying. Also, my Panthers are currently getting killed by the Saints. Waaah!

I went to a Saints home game against the Redskins wearing Eagles gear.    I wasn't the only one wearing Eagles that at the game either.

ETA -  As you know DH's works every day from May-Oct.  Not just everyday.  10-12 hour days.   Well the club is closed right now.   He has popping into work 1-2 hours a day just because.  The rest of the time he is asking me if I'm still working.  Then he will come down to my office and just sit.  Sometimes asking to change the channel on the TV (I normally have some background something on).

The dude is driving me crazy.    Thank god we leave on vacation in a few days.  Then only  a week before he has to cook food for Thanksgiving.

  • My birthday is next Friday and DH asked what I wanted. My reply? A custom closet.
My dad had the idea to do that next year for my parents' 30th anniversary. He wants to hook it all up in a day. If your H can find somewhere for you to be that day, you might get it lol

My sister and I regularly point out and laugh at the displaced fan wearing random team shit. I don't want to be that guy. Plus it's not my division. They're playing the jets. I'm bringing a regular black coat and H has a generic grey hat.

LYNDA! I didn't know you were an Eagles fan. I'm die-hard! Now I love you even more which I didn't know was possible.
  • Pretty much all of my problems are FWP. Got a gel mani that ruined my nails, I got eyelash extensions and more have fallen off of my left eye than my right eye so it looks a little strange and I'm too lazy to make an appointment for a fill. I have too much stuff in my guest room that has no place to live and it's getting out of control. And I am trying to decide whether or not to drop $6 k on a new office or a vacation and new clothes.

Plus I love this. It's basically like rooting for the Redskins to lose via clothing. Genius.

Oh, DH certainly would not be doing it himself. He'd most certainly end up putting unnecessary holes in the walls or perhaps breaking a finger with a hammer.

I know I won't get it, since we're saving up for our second home (another FWP, BTW) but it's really all I want. I can't buy new clothes yet, I'm not ready to go out in public, and I don't wear jewelry other than my e-ring, wedding band, and watch, all of which are irreplaceable. So, another FWP- not being able to choose a b-day gift!

Yep, all my life.   I wear Eagles stuff  or at least colors every game day.  I don't care where I am.

When I moved NOLA all my co-workers wore black and gold starting on friday through game day.  Actually pretty much all of NOLA is in black and gold all weekend long.  It's kind-of weird. Game day, sure.  The Friday before, weird.

Anyway my boss was mad I wouldn't wear black and gold and told me I HAD to become a Saints fan. He was serious too.

After a few weeks of him bugging me I asked him if he moved away from NOLA would he stop being a Saints Fan?  He said "of course not".  Then I basically told him to shut the fuck up (not in the those words) about me having to become a Saints fan because I now lived in NOLA.

I'm so stuffed from the 5 course chefs tasting menu H and I just got back from. We had the wine pairing and sat outside facing the Caribbean. I'm too full to go swimming in the pool, so instead I'm knotting while H showers.

We use to work with the GM at the Ritz.   A lot of our friends use to work there also.

We leave for Anguilla in a few days.  DH's friend is a chef down there and has planned out our meals for most of the 7 days.    From the sounds of it,   I really should have lost more weight before this trip.

  • My current FWP:

The case for my flatware doesn't fit anywhere in my kitchen. It's an 81-piece set, and the case is ginormous while our drawers are normal sized. It's also too large to fit into any of our cabinets. The case (which doesn't have a lid, grr) is currently sitting on top of a storage rack underneath a crockpot.

Yeah, this vacation solidified that H and I go for lots of relaxing and eating delicious food. With all the alcohol and food I'm eating, I'm pretty sure I'll have put on weight when we get back, despite not eating any fast food or soda for over a week now.
