Florists Recommendations- Portland

We are on a pretty tight budget and I am having a hard time figuring out where a good but reasonable place would be for flowers. I am looking at Calla lilies.

In general, Calla lilies are going to be pricier than most other varieties.

Depending on your skills and how many flowers you need, you may be better off buying them yourself through a reputable online wholesaler (there are lots of options out there) and either DIY-ing your arrangements or hire someone just to put them together for you so you save on the retail mark-up.

If you want to keep it local, I would check with the florists at New Seasons and see what they could get for you.

I'm using Cheri at Event Floral - she is great - about $400 for all our bouquets and corsages and other

you could also try Bridesign.com - their calla lily packages run about $200 to $1200 depending on how many flowers you need.  they also mix callas with roses and do different colors.

    good luck!

My fiance and I are just beginning our wedding planning, so we haven't done a whole lot of research, but many people have recommended using someone who can buy them wholesale and either having them put everything together or do it yourself (with help, of course). Also, other people have recommended Costco, but I'm not sure what their pricing is on calla lilies. Best of luck!

I've also heard the prices are good for wholesale flowers from Costco (a friend of mine is ordering some for her MIL's up-coming wedding as she volunteered to do the flowers and callas are what she specifically requested).

My florist is Jenny from Green in Bloom (greeninbloom.com) and she is fantastic! Best prices around and superior customer service. My bridesmaids bouquets at around $25 each (hydrangea), bouts are about $6 each and cosages are about $10 each. She is an excellent resource for finding affordable substitutes/options. I told her what I liked and she gave me a ton of flower options ranging in price.  My bouquet also has calla lillies and yes, they are expensive (mine is about $134).  Shoot her an email and she'd gladly give you a quote!

We used Page Winograd (knottie mmmpage) at Vibrant table, and she did a fabulous job within our budget.  She was amazing.
