Bentley and Wilson booked with someone else already for my date. Alternatives?

Loved their prices and style but some other bride has already put a ring on my date. Lucky lady. Anyone have a suggestion as far as similar quality and price for photography?

Ahhh tyler freear is booked too and though I know joey allen is unavailable this week I feel almost certain he is going to be booked too so I'm wondering if I should go with black chicken. Over the price range I was I was looking at but they are available on my date. Yeah I thou 9 months ahead would be plenty to book a photographer. Book early, ladies. Has anyone worked with black chicken before?

I booked Luca Strawhorn (Memories by Lucas) We have him booked for 10 hours the entire day with a strip tour. He has been amazing as far as communication and very flexible with payments.

I am currently having a photography crisis in my mind.  I'm worried we won't have enough time to get the pictures we want with what we have planned.

@vegasbride2015 What are you doing about it?  I feel like maybe we need to book some time the day before at our welcome dinner  to get some extra shots in of us together.  We only booked 4 hours the day of (so far).

Well, my friend is flying in and he does photography on the side, and is doing our photos...but my original plan was to go to the Bellagio, Paris Hotel, and maybe the Mirage after our wedding reception/drinks in our room, but we're looking at maybe something past 10:30/11pm and I have a feeling we all will be too tired. No ideas yet, but I have 10 mons still.

Do you not think 4 hours will be enough??

I'm a little worried about 4 hours being enough.  People keep saying that photography takes longer than you think and we want some pictures of us around Aria and Cosmo.  So we would need time for the ceremony, candid photos with/of our guests, and our individual shots around the properties.

I do have the option of changing photographers and having 2 nights of events covered for about $100 more.  This is just getting so confusing.

That's a nice option. Our dinner is at 5:30 and I don't think we want pictures during that since its in a restaurant so I don't think that's an option for us. I guess maybe we could invite the photographer to dinner and get some more pictures after.

I will say I almost certainly thought a four package would be enough and we are starting our photography time after our ceremony but between formals, dinner, suite reception, and an hour on the strip I decided 6 hours was needed. Even now I think I should've done 8 hours.

One of the things I liked about Glitter Lens is the have "idle time" for $25/hour they will just hang out (or go get dinner in our case) so they aren't taking photos. I haven't seen any other photographer do this. I really appreciate it. 

They will come back and take photos when I want. I don't want a million photos during dinner and dancing. He is going to leave after our first dance and come back towards the end of the reception for a few dancing photos and our cake cutting. Then wait for us to change and take a few more night photos and us at the nightclub (if he doesn't get kicked out). 

He thinks we may actually be able to get down to 4 hours with only 2 hours of idle time. I am thinking of just going with 6 with 2 hours of idle time to be on the safe side.

Who is your photographer now?

Had Joey Allen.  Going with Gin and Sake now for a few reasons.  

First, the style is more fun and less traditional.

Next, I sent him an email on October 22 and didn't get an answer until I emailed him a couple of days ago.  He said "thanks for reminding me about this, sometimes I lose emails."

Originally  he even had me down under a different name in his calendar. 

I was trying to overlook the communication issues as he has some great photos, but eventually it just had me too worried.  Not to mention that when I asked advice on timelines, he wasn't much help.

Gin and Sake are going to do my welcome party, plus the full day of for only $100 more, so I think it will be a good switch.
