Gift for officiant..? And others? Help!

Hiii,
So my fiance's cousin is performing our ceremony so we wanted to get him something.. but he lives in another state and beyond what we see on Facebook, neither of us knows what he really likes.  Um.  I think he coaches high school football (he lives in Texas.... I feel like everyone does) and is a minister and that's all I know.

Also, we got jerseys for the rest of the groomsmen, but one of them is NOT a sports fan and this makes no logical sense for him.. what are good non-sports gifts?  This could work for ushers too, they really like video games?  That's about it?  :\

  • If you don't know anything about them, and you can't ask people anything about them.  I'd go as basic as possible and just get them an amazon giftcard.  Gamers can buy games, nerds can buy books, heck, you can even get food and other pantry supplies on amazon nowadays.  But, if you can ask their wives, brothers, or mothers what they might like, a more personal gift would be best.
  • Amazon is always a good choice.  Thanks!

Totally agree with this. I was going to suggest a really nice cigar for the officiant with maybe a nice stainless steel cutter, but first you need to know that he actually likes cigars. I think guys are harder to shop for than girls IMO. If I know the guy is a drinker, I usually get him a really nice bottle of whiskey, and sometimes also add those whiskey stones that are everywhere these days.

  • I got a gift for our organist and never met her in my life, so just went with a restaurant gift card. But since he doesn't live near you, I agree, an Amazon gift card is always something anyone can use.

  • Gift cards are always a great choice. Also, if he's flying in for your ceremony you can always pay for his hotel room if it's within your budget.
