I went to Chipotle with my mom last night for dinner and had the most delicious burrito bowl. I couldn't wait for the leftovers. I get to my fridge and work and find that I grabbed my mom's leftovers and she has mine. Sonofabitch!

Ugh. I realized this morning that I never put yesterday's leftover salmon in the fridge. (It was in my lunch bag with an ice pack that was NOT suitable for overnight storage.) Wahh.

I've been craving nachos all week. We had a lunch meeting but were split into 2 groups so there was still people to run the office while the other group was out. Guess who was NOT in the group that went to Jose Tejas for nachos and tacos? *sigh*

I was so impressed with myself this morning because I managed to remember to get the pasta out of the fridge, and then I remembered to get it out of the car and bring it in with me.

Actually succeeded on bringing my lunch in today. ADUUUUUULT.

Girl it is food fail week in my life. Yesterday I put my bagel in the toaster oven at 9:30 (after waiting FOREVER for someone to heat up a giant slice of deep dish pizza that was making me greatly regret my choice) and walked back to my desk "for a minute." Yep, forgot about that bagel for 2 hours til I was SUPER hungry for lunch, wondering why I was so hungry when I ate a bag - - fuck, I didn't eat my bagel! Yeah it was sitting on the table all cold and stale. Fail.

Then this morning I thought TODAY I will not be a giant idiot! I will remember that bagel, and it will be glorious! Reminded myself "you left the cream cheese at work, in the big fridge." Neglected to remember that yesterday's wasted bagel was the LAST one at work and I needed to grab one from home.

I swear I'm eating 4 bagels for dinner tonight.

Today was a lunch fail for me too. I was so excited to eat my bagel bites for lunch today (special treat to myself) and I warmed them up and they were like ALL sauce. Barely any peperoni and like 1 cube of cheese. Soo much grrrr.

A few weeks ago, I ordered Chipotle online.  When I got home and opened my burrito bowl, I found that they had FORGOTTEN THE GUACAMOLE.  It was the saddest I had ever been while eating Chipotle.

Went out to eat for lunch and ordered chicken tacos, because that (of course) sounded delicious..

Mid-eating, remembered why it sounded so good... I have salsa chicken cooking in the crockpot at home for chicken tacos for dinner... 

Any lunch fails involving Chipotle are the worst!

I kinda had a breakfast win/ fail this morning. Popped into the lunchroom to grab my cereal out of the fridge....and oh hey, whadda know, it's that open enrollment meeting I was supposed to attend and totally forgot about. I was only 5 minutes late so that was a win for making the meeting. But it was an hour long and I was starving the whole time and there were no seats left so that was a fail.

I didn't have a lunch fail this week, but somebody burnt something in the lunch room toaster oven, setting off the fire alarm and leading to a 45 minute long building wide evacuation because the HVAC system went down and needed to be reset. Yup, seven floors of scientists and 4 lecture halls of undergrads were evacuated because one scientist can't work a toaster oven safely.
