Toilet Cleaner?

Yeah.. Sorry.. Haha. I am one to always keep the toilet seat down. But it causes a super bad "mold" problem or whatever that disgusting black stuff is that starts. I don't want to be cleaning the toilet every other day (am I supposed to?). What do you guys do? Anyone use those things you clip in the bowl and flush? What do you recommend?

Do you mean around the top of the bowl? I use a Lysol gel once a week and it cleaned the existing gunk (from the previous owner) and has kept ours clean.

I only have the toilet scrubbed once a week. I know what you're talking about but I don't get that black moldy weird stuff in the bowl. Granted, I keep the toilet lid up all the time. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Oh, and I didn't use one of those clip on things because if I forgot to close the toilet lid Kitty would drink out of the toilet and while that was probably not good for her I'm fairly certain the toilet bowl stuff would be poison. And if I did close the lid, she would use that to jump up to the sink and beg for water from the sink.

I scrub the toilet once a week with the Clorox toilet wand thing. But we do keep the lid up all the time.

I use Kaboom toilet cleaner once a week because we have really hard water that stains our toilet. That stuff is magical.
