It's frustrating when that happens.  We're going through a big system transition here and my regular work just stopped a few months ago (bc of system limitations) so now I'm kind of a "special project" person.  So unless I'm working on some major project, I have nothing to do!

I don't know if anyone has responded to this yet @theycallmelinz - but it's possible that your FI is one of the rare folks that cilantro tastes like soap to.  This is a brain/super taster type of issue.  It may not be that he just doesn't like it.

He says it tastes like feet to him. I don't even know lol.

Concerning dinners, last Friday FI was gone so I had ice cream for dinner. 

The cilantro thing is genetic. Some people really taste it differently. I am one of them. Some salsas I can't even eat because of the cilantro. It tastes like soapy feet.

This made me genuinely sad for you.  Cilantro is amazing.  Nothing should ever taste like soapy feet.

My fiance has the soap-cilantro thing, and it's the worst because he adores Mexican food. So sad.

Probably not @raissyrais.

There is also a specific kind of hops, Citra, that for "normal" people gives off citrus flavors/smells.  For my H & I - pure, unadulterated cat pee.  This is also one of those unique things that has to do with how your brain is wired.  We cannot drink any beer where Citra hops are the overriding hops.
