Just wanted to share some information I recently came into, just in case there are other Oregon brides considering the WFC for their wedding reception site in 2012. Amber, the event coordinator, had told me that they only book their venue 14 months out. (So if, like me, you were wanting a date in Sept. 2012, you had to wait until July 1 to reserve it).
As it turns out, Amber is on maternity leave and the girl they have subbing for her has been taking reservations earlier. I called to check on the amount of the deposit ($500) and found that there were only two Saturdays left in Sept. 2012! So anyways, if any of you are looking at this venue and you were under the impression that you had to wait to reserve it, you might want to give them a call and double check.
