Dresses for under $100 in Portland???

Hey ladies,

I was wondering if anyone knows of good bridal shops (or even general dress shops) where I can find brown dresses for my bridesmaids. They're on a budget and are shooting for $100 or less to spend on their dresses. We're all a bit wary about even setting foot in David's Bridal, but if anyone has any suggestions for other places I'd love the help.
Thanks!!

Target has cute dresses for under $40

I'm pretty sure the brides against breast cancer sale that's happening this weekend has bridesmaid dresses also.

I was wary about David's Bridal also...until I went there! I had a wonderful experience at Clackamas DB with Bridget helping me.  She was awesome.  I found my dress, my bridesmaid dress and my mom found her dress there as well.

your experience at DB will really vary depending on time/day you go and who helps you.  We had a terrible experience, with no one to help, dresses all over the floor - it was messy and awful.  Thankfully i'm not shy so i just started pulling dresses off the rack for my SIL to try on (we were looking for her wedding dress).

You might try JC Penney and Sears also.  Penney's often surprises me with what they have.

Mid-week days or evenings are a good time for Davids.

Also check Ann Taylor and J Crew.

I went into the Tigard David's Bridal with my cousin a couple weeks ago (my MoH, who happens to be planning her own wedding as well) and there were maybe 3 other girls in the store with a bunch of employees standing at the front and we couldn't get any help; it sucked.

That said, Macy's often has really pretty dresses and I second that JC Penney has some surprisingly nice selections.

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies!
I'm going to call around at the bridal shops and I like the Macy's and JC Penny ideas, I'll have to keep my eyes open. I've been to DB before as a bridesmaid myself and honestly, I didn't like the quality myself. They are a last resort :/

Ann Taylor and J Crew have amazing stuff but are pretty pricey in my experience... It depends on how formal you want them to be I think.
