Fi and I picked out our wedding bands the other day. The one we liked with the shape of my ring was an enhancement band. With my ring having the european shank we were worried about them fitting together. Double checked with the salesman, he said absolutely they will fit, no problem. Well, Fi gets a call the afternoon that we were supposed to pick up the rings and surprise! There is absolutely no way to make it work.
We went back to the store and the woman who helped us had zero interest in helping us find an alternative ring. We ended up just getting a refund for both rings and leaving. So now I'm wondering if I should just get a single band and deal with it looking uneven or see if the jeweler can convert my ring from a euro shank to a regular rounded one. Or maybe just skip the separate band altogether and keep wearing just my e-ring?
