For The Cold Weather Ladies - My New Favorite Tights

Ok so I wear dresses a lot and in the cold weather, tights are necessary (although half the time I'm super lazy and just wear leggings.)

Now I've discovered "plush lined tights" which are really fleece lined and maybe the most cozy, comfortable things ever to go on my legs.  I had to share.  I ordered them from Kohl's online and am obsessed and need 9 million more pairs.  And I just discovered they have fleece lined leggings and need to go buy all of them too.  The tights are on sale for under $9 now.  Buy them HERE

I love fleece-lined tights! Good to know they're at Kohl's for cheap--I can't remember where I got my last pair but they were overpriced.

I have a pair of fleece lined tights and they are amaaaazing. Every time I wear them I tell everyone about them because they are just so warm and cozy. I know that Groupon has deals for fleece lined leggings right now for dirt cheap.

Not tights, but for those looking for cheap fleece lined leggings I've seen a lot of them at TJ Maxx and Marshall's lately so it might be worth stopping by there. They're always in the juniors section, $6-8 each.

I just got some fleece-lined leggings at target and they passed the bend-over test!

How does the sizing run on these? I'm short, but I am always sizing up because of my thick thighs. Sigh.

For me the best winter investments were a down maxi- coat and my Bogs. . . my legs are not exposed when wearing both.

I'm always, always cold so I never get too warm when I have my fleece lined tights on. I even wear boot socks over them when I wear my riding boots or my Uggs. I absolutely hate even being a tiny bit cold.

Yup, I'm another one who is cold all the time. A house that is heated to 70 degrees in the winter is still not warm enough for me, but I'm not going to pay to bring it up to a comfortable (to me) temperature. I'm definitely not too hot wearing fleece lined leggings inside.

Honestly I'm inside in an office now with the heat on and am super comfortable.  Just cozy and awesome.

I wear fleece-lined tights or leggings in the fall and spring all the time and they are awesome. I wear them under my ski pants when I ski too. I never feel too hot in them in the office either but I'm a pretty cold person generally.

Too cold here to wear them in the actual winter, but they're awesome when it's only sort of freezing!

I just got two more pairs from Sweetlegs, but I'm kind of mad because they don't make patterned ones.

I have to take them off once I get home to my steam-heated apartment. But the office is generally a bit on the chilly side (huge building + open floor plan + floor-to-ceiling windows=drafty). I'm sitting here now, on a day that is maybe 45 degrees, wishing I had my little fingerless gloves because my hands are so cold.

This is me at work every day. I keep saying I will bring them, but I forget. DH is away on business, so we were Gchatting before bed. I was laying down with my laptop keeping my legs warm and fingerless gloves because it was so fucking cold.

We cranked the heat up to 78 in the office today, but it's still cold as all get out. Our office has nothing beneath us in the building except for the open-air parking (building is on stilts), so all the cold air is hitting our floor and making everything feel colder. I wish I wore fleece-lined tights instead of dress pants to work!

I have USB handwarmers that I can wear and still type. They plug into my computer and are extremely stupid and extremely helpful in my frigid office.

WANT!!!

I feel you all.  My lab used to be fucking freezing.  The vent system in here is ridiculous and the air blows down with waaay too much force for the size of the lab. 

But, emphasis on *used to be.*  I climbed up and blocked the overly giant vents with manilla folders so that cold freaking air was constantly blowing down my back.

Environment Health and Safety, OSHA, etc can suck it until the hospital learns how to properly regulate the temp in here.

I did recently discover BooTights, which are EPIC. Tights with built in socks at the ends. No runs in the toes, no layering on socks over tights, just a nice fitting athletic-style sock.

Literally no bulk at all @lolo883 .  They are just a thin layer of fleece.  They are magical.

I kinda think they make my legs look thinner, actually. They're thick and I think they almost have a compression-y effect so my thighs at least look a bit skinnier. I don't think it's in my head because my thighs don't rub together when I wear them and they definitely do touch when I'm not wearing anything.
