I'm already listening to Christmas music

I usually have a hard rule- Christmas music does not start until the day AFTER Thanksgiving. But I can't help myself. I'm getting so excited about the season. Anyone else?

Well.... our team's Exec Assistant just put up a bunch of gorgeous Christmas decorations and I'm not upset about it...

It doesn't seem odd right now because it's so damn colder than normal.  Enjoy yourself!

We have a local radio station that plays Christmas music during the season. Apparently the season started a week after Halloween? I put it on sometimes for the girls but it's a little too early for me. Next week I'll be all about it though.

Honestly, I'm kinda meh about the holiday season. I've never been a huge fan of the music or the jesus talk my family always has this time of year ( I'm athiest). Also  V and I won't see each ther for a bit since we are vsiting our own families for Christmas. But then again I love the holiday food! I am excited or my department's holiday party though, they are always fun. Plus Im looking forward to New Year's Eve. That's the holiday that V and I like to celebrate.

I have already decorated for Christmas.  I did it this week when it was really, really cold, and I was feeling Christmas-y.  I don't even feel bad about it!!

I'm on the same page as @lacqueredlover with a couple of exceptions:

1. Baby It's Cold Outside - because I secretly want FI to sing it as a duet with me...in our house...alone...because we can't sing - but it would be fun, LOL.

2. All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey - because Mariah

3. My Only Wish by Britney Spears (don't judge) - the teenage girl inside me will always love her.

FI thinks it's hilarious to sing & play that song that says "Mamacita, donde esta Santa Claus..." because I despise it.

I'm not that into most Christmas music, but there are some songs I really like (Feliz Navidad, I'm looking at you). Still, I probably won't listen to Christmas music until closer to Christmas. It's also hard  to get into the Christmas/winter spirit when it is 70 degrees out.

I WANT TO LISTEN TO IT SO BADLY! H makes the rule, though, that we can't usually listen to it until Thanksgiving Day.

BUT since we are leaving for our Honeymoon next Tuesday, we've decided we are allowed to listen to it on the plane ride YIPPEEE!! It is taking all of my self control not to listen to it in my office right now.

Don't look it up because you'll hate yourself, but my dad's favorite christmas song is Domenic The Donkey. Mostly because it is VERY EASY to get stuck in your head.

I've had to adopt the habit of going into his office and making sure his computer speakers are off, because he'll remotely log into his work computer while he's out and pull up the song and start blasting it just to fuck with me. Hateful!

I love this season. I usually try to wait until Thanksgiving to turn on the music, but I started early. We're waiting until after Thanksgiving to get a tree since we get a real one, but I'm so excited to start decorating!

I'm not judging. Normally I do a ton of Christmas concerts so I'll often have been rehearsing already by this time of year and singing all of it nonstop, but I took a year off from all gigs this year so I am listening to Christmas music and actually enjoying it for once, and I am not ashamed of it AT ALL. 

I just found this weird album where a Beatles cover band sings, like, Beatles Christmas carols and it is kind of great, too.

Not going to lie, but I'm a huge Grinch when it comes to Christmas music. I just don't like it. I LOVE Christmas and everything, but can't handle the music

Welcome to my world, I got dominic-bombed yesterday morning because he had one of the employees get on his ipad and pull it up while they were driving.

I've already started listening to some Christmas music on Pandora. If it's going to snow, I may as well get in the holiday spirit. One of the local radio stations begins their 24/7 Christmas music tomorrow and I plan on decorating the house this weekend (with the exception of the tree). If I don't do it this weekend, I don't know when I'll get the chance to.

I love the music from the original "Grinch" TV special. I pull out a recording of "Ahmal and the Night Visitors" during December.

It's hard not to want to listen to it with 4" of snow on the ground. One station switched to 100% holiday music on like Nov 1 though and I have flipped over for a song or two.

Feliz Navidad can die in a fire though, as can Little Drummer Boy.

Who knows Walking In The Air (from The Snowman). It's adorable. I love it. Also in our choir we are practicing our Christmas songs for the upcoming concerts. Unfortunately won't be there to perform them!t
