Help me find a necklace

My office is empty today and no work is getting done, so I'm online shopping for a necklace to go with my wedding dress. I'm thinking maybe if I find one I like, I can get some kind of black friday deal on it. Here's my dress:



I'd love a big, chunky statement necklace like this bride is wearing, or I could go for something simpler. Colors are blush pink and gold, and I also love rhinestones and pearls. So where's a good place to shop?

J. Crew!  If they don't have a necklace you love now, look on ebay for some past collection pieces.  But check feedback and where necklace is shipped from--lots of fakes on eBay.  

You can also rent statement pieces on Rent the Runway if you don't think you'll wear it again.

PS--are you as pissed as I am that your office doesn't give you day off today?  Parking lot is empty at my building.  But I'm here because I don't want to use a vacation day.

I'm fine with it. My boss and most of my clients are out so it's an easy day, the office closes early, and the CEO took us out for coffee this morning. And yeah, I need to save all my vacation days, too.

What's your budget? And plus also do you have a Charming Charlie near you? That's always my first stop for jewelry and they have a TON of really awesome statement necklaces.

@esstee33 My budget is around $40. I didn't find a necklace for the wedding on the Charming Charlie website, but I found a bunch of other stuff that I wanted and ordered it

I would think twice about the chunky statement necklace.  They are a current fad, but I think they will be gone in a few years, and then you might regret your decision.  I vote for a simple pearl necklace.

I would check USABride.com I found the site from another post before my wedding and ended up getting wedding jewelry for myself and BM's from there because the prices were very good.

To tell the truth,the goods at physical store are very expensive I think and I also don't dare to buy things online especially a Chinese site though there are also some very good stores too.

I found my jewelry at Nordstrom through their Nordstrom brand. Much more inexpensive than other jewelry. Also, bauble bar is really good but the picture sometimes doesn't show the true color. For example, I had originally ordered earrings for my wedding from bauble bar that looked bright silver in the online pictures but when they arrived they were more of a dark silver. I ended up keeping them just because they were cute and less than $20 but I ended up going to Nordstrom and buying wedding jewelry.
