I'm so bored!!!

We're dead. Completely dead. I was going to work from home today but FI told me to go to work and get out of his way, he's doing all his prep work for tomorrow. So fine, I'm at work. I figured, it'll be quiet, I'll get caught up.

It is almost 11. I am caught up. But oh, I'm in the office? Great, lets schedule a meeting! Oh, but we can't do it until 2. So I can't exactly leave until after the damn meeting that does not happen until 2. A meeting that I am sure will be very pointless. And hopefully short.

Hows everyone else today?

I'm bored too.  And being wildly unproductive because I just want to get home and I'm worried about how much time the snow will add to my already hourlong commute. 

I can't even imagine how unproductive I'll be on Friday...

I'm annoyed because I ordered a bouquet to be sent to my sister. This is the crap she got. I called and got a 50% refund, so I feel like a bit of a badass.

Working the day before and the day after a major holiday should be against the law.

And....Unfortunately I am doing both. It is unbelieveably slow, and I am so ready to go home.

I'm so glad I get Friday off. I wouldn't get shit done if I came in.

I'm just chillin' and shopping online. We have to work today, but we're off tomorrow and Friday. It's sooooo slow today, which I like, because that means it's wedding planning time!

This time of year I AM busy, so I'm loving it. The weather is turning around down here too and it'll actually feel like a fall holiday so I'm excited for hot cider and coffee. I've been drinking iced all week.

Work is dead for me as well.  I am pretty sure 3/4 of the people in our building have already left.  I supposedly have a meeting at 2pm but if it is anything like the rest of my teleconferences this week it won't happen.  So even though I am supposed to be here till 5 today I am going to skip out after my meeting doesn't happen and call it a day.  I have a shit ton of dressing to make tonight and would rather get started on that sooner rather then later.  So in the mean time I am on TK and binge watching One Tree Hill on Netflix

We just had a "meeting" that was really us just sitting around talking. My boss said she is leaving at noon. I plan on leaving at 12:02.

I just ate celery and cherry tomatoes, and am jealous that J gets leftover stew for his lunch.  I put a half bottle of wine in the gravy, and it was SO GOOD.

And I'm so bored.  So so damn bored.

Super bored too.  I forgot that we get half day but paid for full day today, so I totally came in at 7 when I could have come in at 9 and still gotten paid for a full day.  Fail.  At least I'll remember for Christmas this year.

It is dead here. I have not had one email and my phone has not rang, I did have 7 voicemails when I got in but 4 where from the same customer asking the same thing from 4 am to 8 when I got here. So I have not done shit today. I'm jealous FI and FSS got to stay home today.

If it stays this slow I may end up doing some homework at my desk.

I went to my great uncle's funeral last month and got asked twice if I was pregnant. So then I drank a bottle of wine.

@holyguacamole79‌ thanks for asking! I'm doing pretty good thanks. Just got out of postoperative check up and doc says everything looks great. Woo! I'm jealous about all the holiday food/plans you all have going on. Maybe I'll do some cooking this weekend

I really could have gotten caught up today. But instead I've got holiday brain and haven't done anything that I can show to someone else. I took some time reading a book to get ready for a client I have coming in any minute now, but that's not tangible work to prove I did something productive. I'm really ready to gooooo hoooooome. I'm hoping my boss leaves early so I can slip out after her.

Pretty slow here too. Using my time to get a head start on stuff for next week, because it'll be end-of-semester time so things might get a little nuts with wrapping things up. I really wanted sushi for lunch but the cafeteria didn't order any today (probably because they knew it'd be slow), so I had chili, which was good, but when you can't get what you're craving...you know.

I haven't worked the day before Thanksgiving in a long time. A decent amount of my staff and the staff in our department took the day off. I might sneak over to the other building our department's housed in so I can get some human interaction in with my coworker if she's free. Only two more hours though!

And I told the Exec Assistant that as soon as the big boss walks out, to tell me so I can walk out of here 5 minutes later....

Some trolling would be lovely right about now.  Luckily I got to work at 6 am, so I can leave at 2:30, but the next 20 minutes are going to be brutal.
