Hello I am new to this board and I look forward to all the suggestions, tips that are given to me in advance.  I have my date set for Aug 2015 ( venue selected already)  and now I am at the beginning stage of planning.  We are on a tight budget and would like to have suggestions on photographers ,florist, and other vendors.  Most things will be diy .  Thank you

I'm using a florist but I've heard that a good way to cut down on the cost of flowers is to do an order through like Sam's or Costco. You can pick the flowers up a few days before the wedding and create the center pieces and bouquets yourself since you plan to DIY some things.

For flowers go with A&L Floral Design.  I was going to DIY my flowers from Sam's Club and they quit selling the wedding florals package at my local store, so I got scared that they are too unpredictable.  I only spent about $200 more going with these ladies and I didn't have to do it myself.  They also did an AMAZING job, I can't seriously say enough about the quality and price.

Hey girl!

I think a great addition to any diy wedding decor could be something like this. I used something similar for the bar at my wedding, but I found this printed chalkboard signs for a really good price on a site called Sign It Up and I think its a better alternative to a handwritten chalkboard.
