Hair Help!

I am getting married in a little over 2 months & am still in need of finding someone to do the hair of me and all of my bridesmaids.  I will be getting ready downtown at the Renaissance and would like someone who is able to travel to me.  I've already spoken with a few people, but nothing has worked out so far.  I am starting to get nervous, as it's getting close!  I know Charles Penzone offers onsite services now, but I really would prefer not to pay the additional $125 fee, as well as the price of the hair styling.  Any help is appreciated!

Re: Hair Help!

  • What is your budget? I am getting married this weekend at the Athletic Club and my hair stylist is doing my hair and my five bridesmaids and my mom. She is traveling to the Athletic Club to do the hair. She charges a travel fee, not sure the exact amount. But she charges about $60 per bridal updo. I absolutely love her and she does my hair coloring. Name is Peggy Neal with Salon Lofts. Here is a link to her info http://salonlofts.com/peggy_neal
  • Have you tried asking the Renaissance if they have any preferred salons within walking distance?

Shannon Goode comes highly recommended (I didn't use her) and she does on location hair: http://www2.goodehair.com

  • Amy Zender- Zia Salon
  • If you decide to pay the Charles Penzone fee, Gwen @ Max the Salon is worth every penny and then some. I think I would have paid double their fee if I had to!! She has double the talent of anyone I have ever encountered.  She's sweet, funny, creative, down to earth, and will make your visions come to life. My wedding wouldn't have been the same without her.
