Ok, so where are these cyber Monday deals?

I have to provide the serving platters and whatnot for the mini desserts we're having at our wedding. I love the tiered dessert trays and cake stands, etc. Since today is supposed to be full of great deals and all, I was hoping to go online and find some on sale. So far I've tried Pier One, Target, and Amazon, and haven't found much. A lot of the stuff I'm looking for wasn't even on sale, so I could just buy it some other time and save my money for Christmas gifts if that's the case. 

Any suggestions on where I can find this stuff on sale today?

    Macy's Friends and Family deal starts tomorrow (25% off). Crate & Barrel has 15% off and free shipping on $49+. Overstock.com also is having sales today, but I can't really thing of anywhere else.

    You guys, taking a vacation day today was the worst idea ever. Today I've bought 2 pairs of jeans (40% off plus an additional 20% off at Levi), a pair of dress pants, 2 tops, a blazer (50% off at Express), and all 8 Harry Potter movies on Blu-Ray (58% off the double feature packs on Amazon). All for myself, nothing as gifts. 

    And I ate 2 bowls of stuffing and a giant pile of ambrosia.

    We went shopping in Vail.  I got a few stocking stuffers but that was about it.






    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    lol I totally went on a shopping spree for myself with the Black Friday online sales. The saddest part? I was so super excited to have bought a pack of socks for $4. I really want those socks!
