Wedding Woes

FRRRIIIIDAYYY!

So I totally forgot to post Prudie yesterday.  Told y'all I was discombobulated.  I will post them later when more peeps are here.

What's on tap for the weekend?

Tonight: My mom group's cookie exchange.
Tomorrow: Surprise bday party for lil' sis.
Sunday: Decorating for Christmas, wrapping, maybe having the IL's over for the kiddo's bday.

The kiddo will be 14 on Monday.  What in the motherfriggin' what?

Re: FRRRIIIIDAYYY!

  • Tomorrow go see Santa.  That's really all we have planned for the weekend.  I do need to grocery shop sometime.

If it's decent any night we might go to the zoo lights.

  • Can't believe the kiddo is 14.  ::shaking head::  That means mine is next.

I did spend my kohl's cash yesterday.  And I feel much better about my gift situation.  I was able to get 6 things for $37.  Not too bad.

We went to Disney on Ice last night.  The girls loved every minute, as usual.  I'm really glad we go every year.

This weekend is supposed to be a little warmer so we're going to get our lights up outside.  We'll also get a tree.  Other than that, nothing is planned.  DH and I will probably do some more shopping.
  • I hate-watched Peter Pan last night (and FB'd about it),  but I had to give up on it.  It was turrible.
  • Tonight we have a friends bday party at a yummy sushi restaurant.

Tomorrow we're handing out fliers pre-concert for a political action group here.

I also need to hit up a community center to find out how much their room rents for, hours, and check it out.  Planning a Meet n' Greet in January with a snowflake theme : desserts, coffee, cider, hot chocolate for the adults and science stuffs for the kids.  @GBCK, I'm using your borax snowflakes, doing "ice painting" (epsom salt + hot water on black paper, crystallizes), and my group chemist wants to show how to make fake snow with leftover not-used diaper stuffing?  IDK, he loves doing science stuffs w/the kids and he's super conscious re: safety so I let him have at it.  Both he and the kids always have a blast.

Other than that, regular old household stuffs.
  • Tonight I have to take PF to PT, but then we have to come back to my work for services (one of my bosses is being honored tonight and he invited us to a dinner after).

Tomorrow morning will be spent packing and getting food/diapers for the remainder of the weekend.

Tomorrow afternoon we're meeting friends at Sesame Place and then we'll spend the remainder of the weekend with them in PA.
  • This weekend. Other than DD has a movie morning with some of her school friends Sat morning, nothing else planned.

I'd like to try to knock out xmas shopping (or at least create a must purchase list) to some extent. Maybe get a new set of tires for at least one of our cars :-P...maybe just do all of it at Costco and be done with it for the rest of the year.

  • My weekend will consist of:  Removing Wallpaper, Painting, Packing and complaining about all of those.

H leaves on Sunday afternoon for 3 nights and I'm sad/happy about it.  I know I'll miss him, but it's not much different than usual---he's just REALLY not in town.
  • Morning. Today I'm working a half day then taking some time off to go to the salon. I'm thinking of going a bit darker on my hair. Just something new. Tonight we are having dinner at SIL's house before my IL's return home.

Tomorrow we are getting DD's 1 year pictures. I cannot wait to do this. I love taking family pictures. We might go to my mom's house when we are done.

Sunday is nothing. DH and I have been doing so many projects the last few weeks that I just want to relax, play with the kids, and be a couch potato.
  • I took my pathophysiology final this morning then we left for NYC at 2:07. We're now waiting in the Korean Air lounge at JFK for our flight to Stockholm to leave at 9:30. VACATION FINALLY.
