Favorite Holiday Beer

My fiance and I recently went to a holiday beer tasting and had some good brews.  I also bought a six of a beer by Shiner that was called Holiday Cheer.  Tried it with dinner yesterday and it was good, but very, very peachy- odd for a "holiday" beer as I don't know peaches are in season during the holidays.

At the tasting, I enjoyed a beer called Fistmus, and Goose Island's Festivity was pretty good too.

Anyone have any favorite holiday beers to suggest?

I'm not sure if they're doing it again this year, but last year Innis & Gunn made a beautiful Winter Porter that I loved. It was very dark but not super heavy and just so good.

This is more of a Seasonal thing rather than holiday, but FI and I like Sam Adams winter lager. I cover the rims of our beer glasses in maple syrup and cinnamon sugar, and pour the ice cold beer into them. It's a yummy treat

Some of my favorite Christmas seasonal beers are:

-Sierra Nevada Celebration

-Bell's Christmas Ale

-a local brewery also makes a beer called Noche Dulce year around, but it tastes better when the temperatures are cooler. It's almost like a porter (which I'm usually not a fan of) with real vanilla. It's damn good.

Our local brewery - Naked Dove - makes a Christmas beer called Nice 'n Naughty that is absolutely fantastic. Just the perfect blend of Christmas spices. I'm also quite partial to Great Lakes Christmas Ale and Southern Tier 2xmas. I loved the Sierra Nevada Celebration but this year it's not doing much for me.

I tried a gingerbread beer yesterday that was awesome.  I wish I knew the producer, but I didn't take note of it!

I love Troegs Mad Elf. I also tried a Southern Tier one last night that was really good. It's not specifically a holiday beer, but Fat Head's Brewery makes this fantastic beer called Sorcerer's Ale that is just fantastic this time of year.

Guinness Generous Ale, but I don't think they released it this year. We did just buy several bottles of Guinness The 1759 that we're waiting until Christmas to break into. It looks all fancy and stuff!

Sierra Nevada Celebration is my absolute favorite.  I also really like Hibernation and Anchor Christmas Ale.
