Liquor Buy-Back in Oregon?

Hi All --

I'm not from Oregon, but I'm getting married there next year at a place that lets us bring our own liquor.  Do any of you know whether liquor stores in Oregon are allowed to buy back unopened bottles of alcohol, and of any particular liquor stores in Portland that might do this?  Where I'm from you can basically buy as much as you need for a party and then just return it afterwards....

Oregon's liquor stores are run by the state, everything is really tightly controlled. I've never heard of liquor stores being able to do this, but you may just want to try calling and asking - if one store can do it, they all can.

Thanks to you both!  I knew about the state-owned issue, which is why I was wondering  -- I've never lived in a state like that before (and I unfortunately wasn't able to find anything on the OLCC website when I had checked previously).  Great idea to just call a liquor store and ask!
