Hi, my name is Lyndausvi and I'm an addict...

of theses.  Seriously, why do they have to be so good?

What are you addicted to?

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

  • I just found these at the schmancy market near my house. I ate the whole bag in 2 sittings. In the car.

  • I'm addicted to the dark chocolate sea salt caramel Ghirdellis, Kerry Gold butter, anything coconut, and ID TV.

  • I can only find these around Christmas time so when I do I stock up for rest of the year. No lie, I still have 5 in my fridge from last winter.

    I'm watching ID right now.

  • @lolo883 - I love anything Creative Snacks. Their granola is awesome. Not the best for you, but awesome. I just housed a bag of Vanilla Almond Granola this week.

I'm addicted to white chocolate cocoa lately. My company puts all sorts of hot cocoa mixes in our breakroom and I have hoarded all of the white choc ones. No shame.

  • Wasabi & Soy almonds, OMG.
  • Lately it's been tea for me. I got a loose leaf tea mug as an early Hanukkah present and barely a day has gone by in the past month that I haven't used it or drank some form of bagged tea. Dreaming about the next blends I'll buy.

  • Blue cheese or smelly cheese as DH calls it - the smellier the better for me!

But let's be honest, I could just say cheese. All the cheese.
    ~xoxo~

  • Popcorn.  Doing my nails.  But not at the same time - that gets messy.
  • Nutella.  But only the German, French or Polish kinds.  All other Nutella can go suck it.

Popcorn is always messy. I am utterly incapable of eating popcorn without dropping some of it down my bra.

If I get crumbled blue cheese and dip those little pretzel nuggets in it, I will eat an entire bag without stopping. CAN'T STOP TOO DELICIOUS.
  • Bacon and Chocolate and yes sometimes those two things even collide....

    Two things:

I have to buy a bag every time I go to TJs.

    and

These are the only jelly beans I eat. They are only available during Easter so I buy a ton of bags to last me the year. Sadly, the ton of bags usually last two months before I have eaten them all.

I think DH gets nervous over my ID addiction.  Wives with Knives or Women who kill.  He wonders why Iike those?

  • Nutella and Trader Joe's Cookie Butter. I like them seperate and together. Depending on my mood.

    Also, at holiday time,

Homemade Chex Mix, the original kind.  **MY JAM**

  • OMG have you guys had these? The best part of the Gardetto's without all that other filler garbage. And oh man, now I'm drooling over the thought of these in some bleu cheese bacon dip...

  • @plainjane0415 OMG, cookie butter is the best. I like to dip honey wheat pretzel twists in it. One year I got it at the same time as some pumpkin toaster pastries, and the cashier was like "Are you going to put the cookie butter on those?" And I was like "Welp, I am now." BEST DAY.

@lolo883 I love those soooooo hard.

  • Lately I have been crazy about ranch sunflower seeds.

The first time I bought cookie butter, the lady at Trader Joe's asked me if I had ever tried it before, and I said no...she proceeded to open the jar at the counter hunt down a spoon and scoop some out for me right then and there to try... and it really was love at first bite. Trader Joe's also makes these cinnamon graham crackers to dip in the cookie butter... let me just tell you @esstee33 that combo will kill you it's so delicous.  Have you ever baked with it?  I have wanted to try some recipes but just never got around to it.

  • The last week has been hormones/stress binge-eating of homemade Chex mix. I kip the pretzels (blah) but add Goldfish, smashed up pita chips, etc.

I've also been watching an upsetting number of Hallmark Channel Christmas movies. It's ugly.

Mine too!  Who the Bleep Did I Marry?  Fatal Vows. . .

But DH has joined me now in my obsession.

  • Cheez-Its. I am weirdly addicted to them. I could eat a box in one sitting if I let myself.

And in non-food related addictions, I just realized (I was organizing my closet yesterday) that I'm addicted to cardigans. I have thirteen cardigans! And then I found myself rationalizing them all (a true sign of addiction). Like, clearly I need to keep all four black ones. After all, one is three quarter length sleeved for warmer days, one in light cotton, one in heavier cotton and one wool one for when it's very cold. And the beige one is an important neutral to have. And the bright pink one is a great pop of color.

    Y'all I think I've lost it!

Cardigans and sweaters in general are necessary for life. I literally wear at least one every day. I have a bunch of really light weight ones for the summer because even when it's 90, I need some sort of something over my top. Right now I'm wearing a sweater, open front cardigan and longer heavier sweater.
