Florist Recommendations Needed

Hi ladies. I am getting married in Chelsea in September 2015. I am looking for some florist recommendations - that will work with a budget. TIA for the help!

I'm working with a florist on LI although I'm getting married in Manhattan.  My LI quote is 25% less than my lowest NYC quote.

I agree with the other ladies.  Find a florist in the outer boros or Long Island.

Im also getting married in September 15. My venue includes lots of flowers so I really only need my bouquet & 3 smaller ones for my bridesmaids. Im tempting to go to a florist when I arrive in NY & see what they can do for me. Does anyone have any advice/think this is a bad idea?

@Ashleakent, that's not a bad idea at all! When I eloped to City Hall, I just walked into my local florist the day before and asked for a simple arrangement. So, I think your idea is doable, just as long as any florist you choose has 1 day or 2 of notice.

thanks for the advice I arrive in NYC on the Tuesday with the wedding being on the Friday so im hoping that will be enough time!
