I'm about to start my ginormous food/booze shopping quest. I have to go to the liquor store, Costco, market basket, and Walmart. I'm probably not going to get home until tomorrow with all the stuff I need to pick up. What are y'all doing tonight?

I am stopping by the bar on my way home. Probably meet up with FI whilst I'm there. Make a mockery of myself and all my friends there and go home around 7pm. Got tons of TV to catch up on, plan on making sure my Sims are fed..... then I'm going to bed. I do need to come up with a side to bring to Christmas on Saturday Night. Shiiiiit.

I'm going to force myself to work out. I have been in pain for the last week or so and have put off any type of physical activity. After my workout, I plan on snuggling up on the couch with the cats and watching The Santa Clause.

I'm telling myself that I'll be packing for our road trip to Missouri...but actually I'll be laying in bed watching Gilmore Girls. I may or may not get around to painting my toenails.

I am going Christmas shopping with MIL tonight. Just fucking shoot me please.

I. DO NOT. DO. STORES. Around the holidays. I do 100% of my Christmas shopping (and regular shopping, and grocery shopping) online (usually Amazon) because I hate being around fucking shopping people. But she likes me to come with her to find stuff for my kids, and I honestly think she just likes to have an excuse to girl spend time together without H. It's really sweet, so FINE.

I am seriously considering just saying fuck it about whatever I need at Walmart. I honestly can't even remember what it is right now. WAIT, it was curtains and I was so desperate to not get stupid Walmart ones that I ordered some overnight earlier. BOOM NO WALMART.

DH is working tonight.  So it's just me and the dogs.      

I have the next 4 nights alone, then I start working nights until the Jan 1 at the club.    I'm just going to chill tonight, watch a little TV.  Then start cleaning tomorrow for some friends from Indy who are coming for a visit.

Walmart gives me serious panic attacks. The last time we were there I just stopped in the middle of aisle and said "I JUST WANT TO LEAVE RIGHT NOW!"  Around Christmas time? Nope. I don't care if they're giving away free unicorns that poop gold. Nope nope nope.

@ashley8918, I'm so sorry.  That sounds like my nightmare.  My mom ordered something from Target that wasn't available online, but was at the store by my house.  So, I picked it up.  The place was PACKED on a Wednesday at like 2:00 pm.  (Gotta love the flexibility of working from home!).  I'm just relieved mom had it waiting for me at Customer Service.  But ugh, the parking lot.

Also this weekend I will be desperately trying to finish the painting I'm working on that's supposed to be an xmas gift for FSIL. I had to switch to oil paints for the last part and they take forever to dry so I gotta get this done like yesterday :S

Ugh, gross! She wants to meet at Panera for a quick dinner first, so imma make her ass drive from there. I am not dealing with that parking lot BS.

I'm gonna work out. I was going to go kickboxing, but I don't feel like waiting until the 6:30 class. So I'm just gonna hit the gym. Then heading to Trader Joe's for cat food, dinner, and some cheese and meats for tomorrow nights after work secret santa night out. 

I think I also want to straighten out my hair later, but it depends on how much energy I have after the gym. And since it is Thirsy Thursday, maybe I will have a cocktail later at home.

Same, boo. I got all of my gifts on Amazon with the exception of going to GameStop for an Xbox subscription card. The only reason I'm shopping tonight is for all the food and stuff I need for the big dinner on Saturday. I would probably cry if someone tried to get me to go present shopping with them right now.

H and I are meeting our realtor tonight to check out a few houses. There's one in particular he's really excited about (like, this may be the one!) but we have only seen 4 houses so far so that makes me nervous. The housing market here is so good that the best houses are getting snatched up quickly so we have to move quick but I don't want to feel like we rushed it!

I have to go to Brooklyn for my FI's best friends bday at probably the best pizza place in NY, Di Fara's!  Then I have to pack because i leave for vacation tomorrow

I am making caramel corn and double decker fudge that I am giving as gifts at a Christmas thing on Sunday. Tomorrow is my birthday and I don't want to spend the evening making treats. Saturday is birthday celebration with family so that day is out too.

Bless my mom who offered to pick up what I needed at Walmart this afternoon so I don't have to go after work.

We need to finalize our Christmas shopping so I think tonight we're sitting down in front of the laptop and we're going to give Amazon some of our hard earned dough.

I may need to do this with some eggnog flavored rum.

Going to Walmart any time for that matter is terrifying. It is one of the few stores I refuse to step foot in.

Ah te joys of living in a small mountain town. No malls.  Target and Walmart are 26 miles away.   Grocery stores are little more crowded, but not too bad.

Sure the private plane parking at the airport starts to fill up (don't you just hate when you can't find plane parking?)  and restaurants will be a little crazy during the next few weeks, but overall, it's not too bad.

It's good think you will have the alcohol because after going to Wal-Mart this close to Christmas you will need it.

 

I need to go to Sephora to exchange a lip gloss color. There are usually hordes of college kids there so it's go tot be 10X worse now.

So, I am suppose to go to book club. We usually meet right in the city and I can just take our subway home but it's being held in a part of the city that's only accessible by bus. I am thinking of not going because it will be a pain in the butt to go out all that way.

I've been drinking merlot, eating BBQ pork rinds, and listening to Queens of the Stone Age while I unpack for the past hour and a half or so, and that will continue for the immediate future. I just put together an IKEA shelving unit that I need to put ALL THE THINGS on now. It will be the new home for all my pretty Fiesta dishes.

So. much. unpacking.

Need to run to some outdoor store and pick up a gift-card for my work Christmas exchange. I tried to do it yesterday after work but this town is so small townish that they required the full name of the person I was buying for so they could enter it in their system and issue me a hand written gift card. I was buying for my co-workers husband, and she didn't take his last name, and I had no idea what his last name was. 

Why must everything be so overly complicated?

Then I'm going to attempt to workout, its been cramp week of doom this week, and I have a raging headache so I doubt I actually will workout.

I'm also a little grump, FI was gone all yesterday and overnight for work, and he was supposed to be home by 7 tonight. But now its looking like closer to 9. And he's only back for Friday before he heads off for another overnight trip so he will be gone all weekend. Not impressed. And to top it off his First Officer got them tickets to a hockey game in Vancouver Saturday night. So not only will he be gone all weekend flying. He also will be getting paid to go to a hockey game and go out for food and beer and stay overnight in vancouver. Not Fair.

He'll probably come home tonight to me half asleep on the couch and an empty bottle of wine on the table and an empty bowl of icecream.
